Cookie Policy

1. Summary

dkod.ai sets no cookies. It runs no advertising trackers. It uses PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics that keep nothing in your browser after you close the tab. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

2. What the site stores in your browser

The site keeps three small values in your browser's own storage. They never leave your device and we cannot read them from our servers.

• Announcement bar dismissed (session storage). Remembers that you closed the bar at the top of the page. Cleared when you close the browser tab.
• Early-access form progress (session storage). Keeps your answers while you move between the questions, so a page refresh does not lose them. Cleared when you finish, decline, or close the tab.
• Docs sidebar state (local storage). Remembers whether you collapsed the documentation sidebar. Stays until you clear site data.

3. Third parties

• Vercel hosts the site. Like any web host it records standard server logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, time). We do not enable Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights.
• Convex stores early-access form submissions. The browser opens a direct connection to Convex only when you use that form. No cookie is set.
• PostHog (United States) measures how the site is used: pages visited, clicks, and a recording of the page in some visits. What you type in forms is never recorded. The visitor ID lives only in the open tab's memory, so nothing is written to your browser and a new visit starts fresh. The data goes through dkod.ai first. If your browser sends Do Not Track, PostHog does not run.
• Fonts are served from dkod.ai itself, not from Google or any other font network.
• No embedded videos, maps, chat widgets or social buttons load third-party code.

4. The dkod dashboard

The dkod dashboard (dashboard.dkod.app) is a separate application for signed-in administrators. It sets one strictly necessary session cookie after you sign in, so the server knows who you are. It sets nothing else and runs no trackers.

5. Your choices

You can clear the values above at any time from your browser's site-data settings. The site keeps working without them; you may see the announcement bar again and the docs sidebar returns to its default.
